What were you doing before joining ZenGroup?

I was working in advertising, collaborating with a wide range of companies.

Why did you decide to apply to ZenGroup?

I simply thought the job of ‘helping to sell Japanese products to the world’ was cool, so I decided to apply.

How would you describe the workplace environment at ZenGroup?

I personally think ZenGroup has an environment where individual thinking and approaches to work are respected. I think this attribute allows you to feel your growth through the accomplishments you made.

Which part of your personality do you think fits well with ZenGroup?

I think my basically positive nature fits well with ZenGroup.

What is the most enjoyable part of working at ZenGroup?

Helping customers who decide to start cross-border e-commerce is the most enjoyable part for me. Also, having colleagues across all departments to share goals with!

Would you recommend working at ZenGroup to your friends? Why?

Of course! Because ZenGroup offers insights that can make anyone grow fonder of Japan.

Can you describe your work, including your team and colleagues?

I belong to the ZenMarket domestic sales team. Specifically, I approach domestic companies to open stores for cross-border e-commerce and conduct seminars to inform them of our services.

Do you have any memorable experiences where your colleagues supported or cooperated with you?

Yes, of course! We always cooperate on a daily basis. The most memorable time for me was when we held a rather large sales event and members from different departments worked together, leading to a successful event. ZenGroup has great teamwork and communication all employees, regardless of which department they are working in.

When you think of ZenGroup, what word comes to mind?

The first two for me that come to mind are diversity and culture

What do you think is the appeal of ZenGroup?

I believe the appeal we have here is the respect given to each employee’s individual ability to share their own thoughts and ideas.

Are there any unique benefits, growth opportunities, or work-life balance initiatives at ZenGroup that you find attractive?

The flextime system. The sales schedule fluctuates due to commitments with clients, and having flextime allows proper schedule management and efficient working. Also, the company events are fulfilling, and being able to communicate with everyone in the company is great!
