What were you doing before joining ZenGroup?

Before joining ZenGroup, I worked in sales at a hotel in Kyoto for about three years.

Why did you decide to apply to ZenGroup?

I’ve always wanted to spread Japanese culture and products to the world, a desire that started during my time at the hotel, so I joined ZenGroup.

How would you describe the workplace environment at ZenGroup?

ZenGroup’s work environment is free in a good way and quite different from typical Japanese logistics companies. Working with people from many nationalities, it’s a valuable experience.

Which part of your personality do you think fits well with ZenGroup?

I like to think freely and do things my way, so the freedom given here suits me best.

What is the most enjoyable part of working at ZenGroup?

There are many enjoyable aspects, but I particularly like the company events and gatherings, where I can interact and chat with various people.

Would you recommend working at ZenGroup to your friends? Why?

Yes, because you can pursue what you want to do in a relatively free environment. Also, many people who like to talk and work together are here, so I would recommend it.

Can you describe your work, including your team and colleagues?

I work in a team that helps expand overseas sales channels and promotions, dealing with various clients including corporations and local governments. My colleagues are from diverse backgrounds like Italy and the USA, creating a global work environment.

Do you have any memorable experiences where your colleagues supported or cooperated with you?

I often collaborate with the ZenPlus department, where we jointly conduct seminars and talk about ZenGroup’s house and cross-border e-commerce, providing good opportunities for each other.

When you think of ZenGroup, what word comes to mind?

The first thing that comes to mind is the company’s free culture.

What do you think is the appeal of ZenGroup?

ZenGroup’s charm is in its commitment to spreading Japanese products and culture worldwide. Not many companies do this as thoroughly, making it very appealing.

Are there any unique benefits, growth opportunities, or work-life balance initiatives at ZenGroup that you find attractive?

As I mentioned earlier, the company has many events, like barbecues on holidays, drinking parties, and gaming tournaments. This kind of welfare, which I haven’t seen much in other companies, is very attractive to me.
