What were you doing before joining ZenGroup?

I worked at an international resort hotel.

Why did you decide to apply to ZenGroup?

I had lived abroad for a short time and remembered thinking how great it would be if Japanese products were more accessible overseas. This memory sparked my interest in ZenGroup.

How would you describe the workplace environment at ZenGroup?

I think the work environment here is constantly evolving. Updates and changes to how we do things here happen very quickly.

Which part of your personality do you think fits well with ZenGroup?

ZenGroup is constantly taking on new actions and plans, so I think my challenging spirit fits in very well.

What is the most enjoyable part of working at ZenGroup?

This is specific to being able to work at the logistics center, but I find it very enjoyable to see and handle so many different Japanese products.

Would you recommend working at ZenGroup to your friends? Why?

I would definitely recommend it. You can gain a lot of knowledge, and there are opportunities for social interaction beyond work. I think the days here are fulfilling.

Can you describe your work, including your team and colleagues?

I am the team leader of the administrative team at the logistics center. There are two part-time staff members in my team. Our daily tasks are mainly divided into two areas. The first is labor-related work for part-timers and order management for materials at the center. The other is working as a coordinator for ZenMarket, dealing with customer store returns, photo services, and some disposal work.

Do you have any memorable experiences where your colleagues supported or cooperated with you?

Recently, we had a request to dismantle a speaker weighing about 50 kilograms. I couldn’t solve it alone, so I asked for help from my center’s manager. Also, the customer support team assisted us to ensure the communication between us and the customer went smoothly. In the end, we successfully resolved the issue!

When you think of ZenGroup, what word comes to mind?

Speed.

What do you think is the appeal of ZenGroup?

I think that would be the ZenGroup’s consistent growth and the social interaction at company events after working hours.

Are there any unique benefits, growth opportunities, or work-life balance initiatives at ZenGroup that you find attractive?

The number of paid leave provided in exchange for working on holidays is very attractive for me. Also, the company does encourage employees to take time off, which helps achieve a good work-life balance.
