We celebrated our 10th anniversary on April 1, 2024, with a 10th-anniversary commemoration. Throughout nine installments, we will introduce speeches given by our CEOs and employees.

The first speech will be presented by one of our CEOs, Surovyi Viacheslav.

Ten years ago, we were just five people—four CEOs and our CTO, Vitaliy—and all we had to rely on was each other. We couldn’t have imagined filling such a large venue ten years later. We’ve grown from five individuals to 439.

Was it a brief moment, or was it a long journey? Can we say we’ve been successful?

In a sense, companies are like humans. No matter how hard you try, there’s always someone more productive, smarter, and more successful. Yet, even knowing that, our journey and experiences to this point are invaluable and cannot be replaced by anything else.

How do we measure success for a company? Of course, we can measure it in numbers.

We have a record of shipping 5,000 tons of Japanese products to 175 countries, which is equivalent to 1,000 elephants. The total number of characters in messages we’ve exchanged with customers is 2 billion, equivalent to seven sets of Britannica Encyclopedias.

However, can we truly show these past 10 years in quantities, characters, or monetary values? I feel that the intangible aspects hold more significance than what numbers can convey. What holds meaning varies from person to person. Some find meaning in tackling complex problems and finding solutions efficiently, while others find satisfaction in receiving gratitude from customers. For some, meaning lies in working alongside cooperative colleagues. Of course, the joy of sharing memes and creating emojis on Slack* is also one of those meanings!

Jokes aside, we spend much of our lives at work.

And for me, it’s important that everyone finds fulfillment—something that brings value and satisfaction—regardless of their role or type of work. It’s about each of us finding our own “zen.”

What happens when you find your zen? You’ll probably feel eager on Monday mornings, wanting to get to work even a minute earlier. (Not because you’re running late!)

If you feel that way, it’s a sign of moving in the right direction. And for me, if each of you finds your own fulfillment, I’ll take pride in that, as it’s what makes being a CEO fulfilling for me.

Finally, I express my gratitude for the daily efforts made by all of our employees. And I promise that the next 10 years will be even more exciting. Let’s continue to enjoy this journey together.
