“From Veterinary Nurse and Office Administrator to Cross-Border EC Logistics: Choosing a Workplace with Stable Benefits for Long-Term Career Security”

— What were you doing before joining ZenGroup? Also, why did you decide to apply to ZenGroup?

I worked as a veterinary nurse at an animal hospital, did sales administration in the retail industry, and then general office work at a transportation company. When I was looking for a new job, I wanted a workplace with solid benefits where I could work long-term, regardless of whether I married or not. I decided to apply to ZenGroup because I felt I could make the best use of my previous experience working in logistics warehouses.

“Designing Processes by Anticipating Customer Needs: The Thrill of Seeing My Work Directly Lead to Global Export Clearances”

— Can you tell us about your specific duties in your department and what you find rewarding?

As the Minoh Logistics Center General Affairs Team, we work together with our staff to take photos of products, verify and remove prohibited items, and discard unwanted items at the request of our customers. In addition, we handle onboarding and offboarding procedures and order office supplies.

In our role, we cannot speak directly with customers. Therefore, I find it incredibly fun to think ahead and design the best process to quickly and reliably fulfill their requests with minimal communication. Also, seeing exports successfully cleared as a direct result of my work gives me a great sense of accomplishment.

"Beyond Desks, Active on the Floor! A Welcoming Culture Where the Entire Center Cooperates as One Big Team"

— What is the team atmosphere like? Do you have any stories of cooperating with colleagues?

The logistics center general affairs team is a bit different from "general affairs" in the general sense; we often go out to the floor rather than just doing desk work, which suits my active personality perfectly as I would find sitting all day a bit boring. Since we are divided into teams by task, I also love that I can get deeply involved in the work rather than just doing a little bit of everything.

As for an episode with colleagues, since the entire logistics center operates as one single team, we are constantly cooperating with each other in every daily task rather than just in specific moments! Of course, as a member of the team, I always make sure to do everything I can to support my colleagues.

"In One Word: 'Freedom'! Shifting and Evolving to Deliver Japanese Culture to the World with Endless Potential"

— How would you describe the company in one word? Also, what do you find appealing about ZenGroup?

If I were to describe ZenGroup in one word, it would be "Freedom." Because the company is in the middle of rapid growth, I have an image of infinite possibilities where we can adapt and evolve into any shape in the future.

As for its appeal, I believe it is the ability to find unique value in the surprising variety of products we handle daily while promoting wonderful Japanese culture to the world. I truly feel that there is "only room to grow," both for the company and for our business.

"Total Freedom of Hair and Nails! Recharging with Fixed Rest Days and Abundant Paid Leave, Tracking Growth Every Four Months"

— Please tell us about the ease of working, unique benefits, and growth opportunities.

Since rest days are completely fixed depending on the day of the week, it is very easy to make private plans. Also, as long as it does not interfere with work, there are no restrictions on hair styles or nails, so everyone, including part-time staff, works in their own free and personal styles.

For growth opportunities, we have a system where we set goals every four months and re-confirm where we aim to be. Since we can confirm our department's achievements with concrete numbers four months later, it helps you notice your own personal growth and stepping stones that you might miss just by doing routine work.

Furthermore, instead of working on holidays, we are provided with a generous amount of company-specific paid leave, so our annual number of holidays might actually be higher than at typical companies. Taking leave is never denied, so we have a highly accessible atmosphere where someone is taking time off almost every day of the week. Although I haven't used it yet, we also have a relaxed compliance counseling window, which gives great peace of mind if any issues arise.

"Highly Recommended for an Outstanding Work Environment: Find Passion in Connecting Japan to the Rest of the World"

— Closing Message (Recommendation to Friends)

Yes, I would absolutely recommend it! It is an extremely comfortable workplace, and above all, if you have even a slight interest in our business of delivering Japanese culture to the world, I believe it is an environment where you can work with excitement and joy.
