“Taking a Leave from Vocational School to Join ZenGroup! Attracted by an Exciting Environment Where Diverse Products and International Staff Intersect”
— What were you doing before joining ZenGroup? Also, why did you decide to apply to ZenGroup?
Before joining ZenGroup, I was a vocational school student. I joined the company while I was enrolled and taking a leave of absence.
I initially joined as a part-time staff member. I applied because I thought it would be fun to handle various products and have opportunities to interact with people from other countries.
“Supervising the Floor as a Packing Team Leader! High Discretion and Responsibility Drive My Daily Growth”
— Can you tell us about your specific duties in your department and what you find rewarding?
My duties include managing packing progress, coordinating shifts for part-time staff, and supervising picking and packing operations. I also handle support tickets when troubles arise.
Having significant individual discretion gives me a strong sense of reward, and at the same time, the responsibility that comes with it provides me with daily opportunities for personal growth.
"Challenging New Frontiers in a Free and Respectful Workplace! How Warm Colleague Support Saved Me When I Struggled with Management"
— What is the team atmosphere like? Do you have any stories of cooperating with colleagues?
I believe it is a very free workplace that respects individuality—something you don’t often find in typical Japanese companies. Personally, I am not fond of doing the exact same thing over and over, so ZenGroup's dynamic environment, where we challenge new things and grow every day, fits me perfectly.
One of my most memorable moments with a coworker was when I was struggling to manage part-time staff and thinking about quitting. They took the time to listen to me and gave me some great advice. It was such a relief to realize I wasn't alone, and their support truly meant a lot to me.
"In One Word: 'Challenging'! Enjoying Exciting and Stimulating Days with Colleagues of Diverse Nationalities and Perspectives"
— How would you describe the company in one word? Also, what do you find appealing about ZenGroup?
If I were to describe the company in one word, it would be "Challenging."
The biggest appeal is simply how fun it is to work here. Unlike companies with only Japanese staff, everyone has completely different nationalities and ways of thinking, creating an exciting environment that is rare elsewhere. In my daily life, I rarely have the chance to interact with people from other countries, but at ZenGroup, being able to connect with people from all over the world is incredibly enjoyable.
