To put it simply, my job is about moving funds. This includes payroll calculations, payments to external vendors, and processing customer refunds. Highly labor-intensive tasks like payroll are divided and handled within the team, and even for tasks managed individually, colleagues will step in and cover for us when we take time off, ensuring a solid support system is in place. Additionally, many Japanese companies that have historically profited from domestic demand lack know-how in international transactions. Supporting their sales channel expansion is highly rewarding and one of the most attractive aspects of this job.

We have a system in place where we cover each other's tasks when someone takes paid leave, and we all do our best to ensure that everyone can use 100% of their paid time off (haha).

It is a highly comfortable environment with no unnecessary overtime, and free nuts and coffee are provided. The introduction of flex-time and the fact that we receive extra paid leave in exchange for working on national holidays—making it easy to take long vacations—fits my desire to enrich my personal life. I especially love the free nuts (since nuts are relatively expensive in Japan and, even though I know they are healthy, I don't usually buy them for myself... haha). The opportunity to take face-to-face English classes in the office is also a very attractive feature.
